Witty and heartbreakingly human, Evening All Afternoon is a moving story about loss, memory and the courage it takes to begin again.
Written by multi award-winner Anna Ziegler (Photograph 51, The Wanderers) and directed by Diyan Zora (Roots, Almeida; RSC’s English), the play brings emotional precision and lyrical depth to the stage. This production starred Anastasia Hille (The Effect, Oresteia, The Master Builder) and Erin Kellyman (The Green Knight, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier)
What is Evening All Afternoon about?
Exploring what it means to open our hearts when the world feels unsteady beneath our feet, Evening All Afternoon follows Jennifer, soon to become Delilah’s stepmother, as she tries — desperately and awkwardly — to build a connection. Their relationship unfolds with humour, honesty, and a quiet bravery as both women reckon with loss, memory, and the fragile courage it takes to begin again.
