Singer, songwriter and West End actor Lily Allen is set to return to the stage next spring with West End Girl, a new UK tour that will see the acclaimed singer perform in some of the country’s most beautiful theatre venues, including two nights at the London Palladium.
The British pop star’s 2026 dates marks her first live music tour in seven years and accompanies her fifth studio album, West End Girl, which has been hailed as one of her most personal and critically acclaimed releases yet.
Inspired by the breakdown of her marriage to Stranger Things actor David Harbour, the album explores heartbreak, reinvention, and rediscovery, themes Allen says were born from “life falling apart”.
In a nod to the album’s narrative structure, Allen will perform the new material in full and in order, giving fans a theatrical storytelling experience across eleven dates nationwide. The tour opens on 2 March 2026 at Glasgow’s Royal Concert Hall and includes stops in Liverpool, Birmingham, Sheffield, Newcastle, Manchester, Nottingham, Cambridge, Bristol and Cardiff, before finishing with two headline nights at the London Palladium on 20 and 21 March.
The choice of venues reflects Allen’s wish to bring an intimate, narrative-led energy to her shows. “These songs were written to be heard in beautiful spaces,” she said in a statement. “I wanted this tour to feel like storytelling – like theatre.”
West End Girl has been met with widespread critical praise since its release last week. In a five-star review, The Independent praised Allen’s “intense story-driven format” and called the album “a return to sharp, witty, and clear-eyed songwriting.” The album has also picked up praise, and four star reviews, from publications including the Guardian, NME and Rolling Stone.
Allen last toured in 2018–2019 with her No Shame album and has made select live appearances since, including surprise sets at Glastonbury Festival in 2022 and 2024.
Lily Allen has also forged an acting career, with West End performances in 2:22 A Ghost Story, and The Pillowman. She recently starred in Matthew Dunster’s new production of Hedda, based on Ibsen’s Hedda Gabler, at Theatre Royal Bath.
Tickets for the tour go on general sale on Friday 7 November at 10am.
