Full casting has been announced for the new UK and Ireland tour of hit West End musical Priscilla Queen of the Desert including Kevin Clifton, Adèle Anderson and Nick Hayes.
The upcoming UK & Ireland tour kicks off at the Palace Theatre in Manchester in February 2026, and then visits Glasgow, Liverpool, Southampton, Birmingham, Norwich, Newcastle, Edinburgh, Cardiff, Nottingham, Aylesbury, Woking, Canterbury, Belfast, Dublin, Brighton, Leicester, Bradford, and Truro. Based on the Oscar-winning film, this spectacular stage adaptation follows three drag performers – Bernadette, Tick and Adam, on a journey of self-discovery across the Australian outback aboard their beloved bus, Priscilla.
Already announced is Adèle Anderson (Fascinating Aïda) as Bernadette, immortalised in the movie by the late Terence Stamp.
Adèle will be joined by Kevin Clifton (2:22 A Ghost Story, Strictly Come Dancing, Chicago) as Tick/Mitzi, Nick Hayes (Groundhog Day The Musical) as Felicia/Adam, and Peter Duncan (Blue Peter, The Dame) as Bob/Preacher.

The cast also features Dakota Starr (Priscilla The Party) as alternate Bernadette, Leah Vassell (Oliver!) as Diva 1, Bernadette Bangura (Moulin Rouge!) as Diva 2, Jessie May (Beetlejuice) as Diva 3 and Shirley, Gary Lee (Ghost) as Miss Understanding, Billie Hardy (Chicago) as Marion, Isabella Glanzing Santos (Frozen) as Cynthia, Sario Solomon (Grease the Musical) as Jimmy, Jak Allen-Anderson (Addams Family) as Farrah/Young Bernadette, and Alexander Emery (Come Fall in Love) as Frank.
The ensemble cast includes Michael Afemaré, Tia Antoine-Charles, Olivia Bella, Alexander Gage, Fionan O’Carroll, Nathan Ryles, Samuel Stokes and Mary Suarez.
Costumes by Strictly’s Vicky Gill
Strictly Come Dancing’s BAFTA award-winning costume designer Vicky Gill and her team have designed and created over 100 iconic costumes for the production.
Best known for creating show-stopping looks on Strictly Come Dancing since 2012 and Dancing On Ice, Vicky is renowned for her ability to blend glamour with functionality, creating dazzling costumes that celebrate both movement and performance.
Actor and dancer Kevin Clifton said: “I’ve always loved Priscilla Queen of the Desert — it’s bold, joyful, and unapologetically full of heart. Taking on the role of Tick/Mitzi feels like the perfect challenge because it’s not just about the glitz and glamour, it’s about identity, family, and love in all its forms. What drew me in was the chance to tell a story that celebrates being true to yourself, no matter what the world thinks. And let’s be honest — who wouldn’t want to perform in those incredible costumes with that soundtrack? It’s pure joy from start to finish.”
Vicky Gill said: “It is an absolute pleasure to be the costume designer for this vibrant and iconic show. I was completing a course in fashion when the film came out and I remember how much it filled us all with such a sense of freedom and joy. In live theatre, every sequin, feather, stitch, and silhouette helps to tell the story in real time, right before the audience’s eyes. Bringing this glamorous and fabulous world to life through costume is a dream come true and an incredibly rewarding challenge.”

Bringing its signature blend of glitz, disco anthems and high-energy performances to audiences nationwide, the show boasts extravagant costumes, electrifying dance numbers, and a soundtrack that includes some of the greatest disco hits of all time, including It’s Raining Men, I Will Survive, Hot Stuff, and Go West.
The Priscilla Queen of the Desert tour is once again directed by Ian Talbot. The creative team also includes choreography by Matt Cole (Newsies), plus set and lighting design by Andrew Exeter.
Produced by Mark Goucher (Hairspray, The Full Monty and Shrek), the show has previously enjoyed long runs in the West End and on Broadway, as well as multiple UK and international tours.
