Urinetown: Full cast announced at the Apollo Theatre

The full cast has been announced for the West End transfer of Urinetown at the Apollo Theatre.

Coming to the Apollo Theatre from 29 September 2014, the show transfers into town from a sell-out season at the St James Theatre.

Reprising their critically acclaimed roles will be Olivier Award-winner Jenna Russell as Penelope Pennywise, Simon Paisley Day (Doctor Who, Sherlock, Spartacus) as Caldwell B. Cladwell, Marc Elliott (EastEnders) as Mr. McQueen, Jonathan Slinger (RSC) as Officer Lockstock and Nathan Amzi (BBC1’s The Voice) as Officer Barrel.

Also starring in the show will be rising young star Matthew Seadon-Young, who takes over from Richard Fleeshman in the main part of Bobby Strong.

The show is directed by Jamie Lloyd (The Commitments) and designed by Soutra Gilmour, with music and lyrics by Mark Hollmann and book and lyrics by Greg Kotis.
