Made in Dagenham: More cast announced

Major new West End musical Made in Dagenham has announced the full cast ahead of its Autumn opening in London, including Isla Blair and and David Cardy.

Producers of Made in Dagenham The Musical – a big stage remake of the hit British movie – have announced the full cast of the show.

Directed by Almeida artistic director Rupert Goold (American Psycho, Enron), the show runs in the West End’s Adelphi Theatre from 9 October 2014.

As already announced, Hollywood and British film and stage star Gemma Arterton will play the lead role of Rita O’Grady in the show, alongside Adrian Der Gregorian as her husband Eddie.

Other cast include Isla Blair (A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, The History Boys) as Connie and David Cardy (Ghost Stories, Dreamboats and Petticoats) as Monty.

Also featuring in the show are Gareth Snook, Steve Furst, Mark Hadfield, Sophie-Louise Dann and Naomi Frederick.

The full cast also includes Sophie Stanton, Heather Craney, Sophie Isaacs, Julius D’Silva, Naana Agyei-Ampadu, Thomas Aldridge, Kate Coysten, Christopher Howell, Scott Garnham, Ian Jervis, Paul Kemble, Emma Lindars, Jo Napthine, Tracey Penn, Gemma Salter, Rachel Spurrell, Emily Squibb, Karli Vale and Rene Zagger.
