A new stage thriller based on Oren Peli’s Blumhouse film franchise Paranormal Activity has been announced for the West End.

The new show was first produced at Leeds Playhouse last summer, starring Patrick Heusinger, Melissa James, Pippa Winslow and Jackie Morrison.

Ahead of the West End, and also a planned Broadway run, the show is touring the US from this October to March 2026, including Chicago Shakespeare Theatre, Center Theatre Group Ahmanson Theatre, Shakespeare Theatre Company Washington DC, and the American Conservatory Theatre.

Written by Levi Holloway (Grey House) and directed by Punchdrunk’s Felix Barrett, the show is a Melting Pot production in association with Gavin Kalin, Ken Davenport and Jonathan & Rae Corr.

The creative team also includes Set and costume design by Fly Davis, Illusion design by Chris Fisher, Video design by Luke Halls, Lighting design by Anna Watson, Sound design by Gareth Fry, and Movement direction by Kath Duggan.

There is no current news confirming a West End venue or timing for the London run of the show.

The news was revealed as part of an announcement about the producer Melting Pot (Life of Pi), who have rebranded from Simon Friend Entertainment.

Melting Pot is also the producer behind scary stage thriller Ghost Stories, which is returning to London this autumn playing the Peacock Theatre from 30 September.
