New production photos have been released for West End musical Back to the Future, now playing at the Adelphi Theatre in London.
The photos feature the musical’s new lead star, American actor Caden Brauch as Marty McFly, who joined the company last month.
Caden has just completed performing in the US tour of Back to the Future, and has taken over from Vasco Emauz who left the production on 8 February.
Back to the Future also stars Cory English as Doctor Emmett Brown, with Sarah Goggin as Lorraine Baines, Lee Ormsby as Strickland and alternate Doctor Emmett Brown, Orlando Gibbs as George McFly, Patricia Wilkins as Linda McFly, C.J. Borger as Goldie Wilson and Marvin Berry, Alex Runicles as Biff Tannen, Talia Palamathanan as Jennifer Parker, Ellis Kirk as alternate Marty McFly and Liam McHugh as Dave McFly.
Back to the Future recently extended its run in London to 3 January 2026.

Now in its 4th year in London, having opened at the Adelphi Theatre in September 2021, this year also marks the 40th anniversary of the original movie, starring Michael J Fox.
The show recently closed on Broadway, and the US tour is currently running to August 2025. The musical is also playing in Japan and will open in Germany and Australia later this year.

Back to the Future is based on the Universal Pictures/Amblin Entertainment film, and has a book by Bob Gale and new music and lyrics by Emmy and Grammy Award-winning Alan Silvestri and six-time Grammy Award-winning Glen Ballard, with additional songs from the film including The Power of Love and Johnny B. Goode.
The Olivier Award-winning Best New Musical is directed by Tony Award-winning director John Rando (Urinetown, On The Town), alongside the multi Tony and Olivier Award-winning design team of Tim Hatley (set and costume design), Tim Lutkin (lighting), Hugh Vanstone (lighting consultant), Gareth Owen (sound) and Finn Ross (video), with choreography by Chris Bailey, musical supervision and arrangements by Nick Finlow and Illusions by Chris Fisher. Orchestrations are by Ethan Popp and Bryan Crook, with dance arrangements by David Chase. Casting is by David Grindrod CDG for Grindrod Burton Casting.
Back to the Future is currently booking at the Adelphi Theatre until 3 January 2026.
