Smash-hit West End show Moulin Rouge! The Musical has released a new trailer, and added more dates to its London run.
The award-winning musical is now playing at the West End’s Piccadilly Theatre, where it has extended its London run to 25 October 2025.
To celebrate, the production has also dropped a brand new trailer!
Moulin Rouge! The Musical currently stars Natalie Kassanga (Crazy for You, Dreamgirls) as Satine, and Dom Simpson (The Book of Mormon) as Christian, with Craig Ryder (Priscilla Queen of the Desert) as Harold Zidler, and Ben Richards (Emmerdale) as The Duke.

Moulin Rouge! also stars Dex Lee (The Scottsboro Boys) as Toulouse-Lautrec, Ivan De Freitas (& Juliet) as Santiago, Charlotte Gooch (Dirty Dancing) as Nini, Bernadette Bangura as La Chocolat, Helen K Wint (Oklahoma!) and Hannah Jay-Allan (Beautiful) alternating the role of Arabia, and Matteo Johnson (Bat Out of Hell) as Baby Doll. Angela Marie Hurst is Alternate Satine.
The cast is completed by Oliver Adam-Reynolds, Takaiyah Bailey, Erin Bell, Emily Bolland, Ross Chisari, Athena Collins, James Davies-Williams, Katie Deacon, Serenar Douch, Rola Elliott, Myles Hart, Grace Hawksworth, Maiya Hikasa, Melvin LeBlanc, Tom Mather, Kira McPherson, Paul Mukembo, Dean Read, Ben Rutter, Gavin Ryan, Mark Samaras, Jamie Shields, Catrin Thomas, Lindsey Tierney, Alex Tranter, Matt Trevorrow, Kevin Tristan, Ben Whitnall, and Sasha Woodward.
Moulin Rouge! is coming up to its fourth birthday in the West End, having started its run at the Piccadilly Theatre in November 2021.
Moulin Rouge! The Musical is based on the much-loved Baz Luhrmann movie, and is set in Paris, 1899 – a world of indulgent beauty and unparalleled extravagance, of bohemians and aristocrats, of boulevardiers and reprobates. The story centres on a lovesick American writer called Christian, and Satine, the dazzling star of the Moulin Rouge nightclub.
The show is also touring the world from 2025, with the Moulin Rouge! The Musical UK Tour starting at the Edinburgh Playhouse in April. Casting for the tour was announced this week, with Verity Thompson (Cruel Intentions, Heathers, The Bodyguard) as Satine and Nate Landskroner (Bonnie & Clyde, Heathers, Waitress) as Christian.
