Hidden within a vast warehouse—once the paper store of Britain’s most powerful newspapers—lies a sprawling archive. Every news story, message, and meme ever shared is meticulously stored by an underground collective, seeking to preserve the past and shape the future.

But as conflicting narratives collide and their last remaining founder fades, the archive is at a breaking point. Someone must decide what is preserved, rewritten, or erased forever.

This visionary production will be voiced by an extraordinary ensemble of talent led by Toby Jones (Tetris, Mr Bates vs The Post Office, Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny), Meera Syal (Paddington 2, The Kumars at No. 42), Kathryn Hunter (Poor Things, Harry Potter), and rising star Billy Howle (The Perfect Couple, The Serpent, On Chesil Beach).

Crafted by an elite team of award-winning theatre-makers, immersive pioneers, and master storytellers, including Donacadh O’Briain (Operation Mincemeat), Caro Murphy (Disney’s Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser) and Katie Lyons (Peaky Blinders: The Rise), this experience promises exceptional depth and delivery. Storehouse will encourage visitors to question their resources, apply agency, and feel empowered to overcome the often oppressing news and media landscape.

Storehouse invites audiences to step into a world where humanity’s stories have been carefully archived since 1983, the dawn of the internet. As audiences navigate this rich and awe-inspiring underworld, they’ll confront the powers that shape everyday narratives, questioning their own role and behaviours within society.

This revolutionary production, set across a space equivalent to two football fields, thrusts audiences into a battle between the defenders of Truth and the keepers of Order.

As the Storehouse crumbles and secrets unfold, the true cost of controlling the narrative will be revealed, urging audiences to examine their vulnerability in the face of power.
