Lee Latchford-Evans, best known as a member of the pop group Steps, is set to join the UK tour of the smash-hit musical & Juliet. Lee will take on the role of Lance at select performances during the tour’s second leg, alternating the part with Ranj Singh.

Lee is a household name as one-fifth of the UK’s most successful mixed-gender pop group, Steps. The group boasts a phenomenal career with 14 top-five singles, over 22 million records sold, 500 million streams, and 11 sold-out national tours. Their achievements include a Brit Award, Attitude’s ‘Icon’ Award, and an impressive milestone as the first British mixed-gender group to achieve a No. 1 album across four consecutive decades.

In 2024, Lee and his fellow Steps bandmates co-produced the musical Here & Now – The Steps Musical, which broke box office records during its limited run at Birmingham’s Alexandra Theatre. The show’s success has led to plans for a UK and Ireland tour in September 2025.

The Tour

The UK and Ireland tour of & Juliet opened at Manchester Opera House on 8 July 2024. It’s next stop will be Bristol Hippodrome on 14 January 2025, going on to play London Wimbledon, Aberdeen, Leicester, Dublin, Woking, Bradford, Milton Keynes, Nottingham, Birmingham, Southend-on-Sea, Stoke-on-Trent, Sheffield, Newcastle, Truro, and Cardiff.

Created by David West Read, the Emmy-winning writer from Schitt’s Creek, this hilarious new musical flips the script on the greatest love story ever told and asks, what would happen next if Juliet didn’t end it all over Romeo?

Songs come courtesy of Max Martin, the songwriter of some of the biggest Number One hits of the century, and include Britney Spears’ “…Baby One More Time,” Katy Perry’s “Roar” and chart toppers “Since U Been Gone,” “It’s My Life,” “I Want It That Way,” and “Can’t Stop the Feeling!”.

The show has won three Olivier Awards and 6 WhatsOnStage Awards.
