Hit musical 101 Dalmatians The Musical is returning to London next year, playing the Eventim Apollo Theatre in summer 2025.
Iconic villain Cruella de Vil is set to terrorise London as 101 Dalmatians: The Musical takes over the Eventim Apollo for an exclusive six-week run, from 18 July to 30 August 2025.
Dodie Smith’s timeless canine adventure comes to life in this dazzling stage production, which is currently touring the UK (see tour dates).
The musical adaptation started life at the Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre in 2022 starring Kate Fleetwood.
The show was then rebooted, and started a major new UK and Ireland tour this year, initially starring Kym Marsh (Coronation Street) as Cruella de Vil, and now Faye Tozer (Steps) and Kerry Ellis (Wicked, Anything Goes) sharing the role.
Remaining tour dates are Glasgow, Edinburgh, Oxford and Brighton.
The current 101 Dalmatians cast also features Samuel Thomas as Tom, Charles Brunton as Casper, Linford Johnson as Pongo, Emma Thornett as Perdi, Jessie Elland as Danielle, and Danny Hendrix as Jasper.
In the ensemble are Ross Dorrington, Benjamin Durham, Benedict Hastings, Lottie Johnson, Rachel Lea-Gray, Tom Norman, Hugo Rolland, Lindo Shinda and Jasmine Triadi (Ensemble); and the swings are Victoria Compson-Bradford and Eugene Shire.
Casting for the London run is to be announced.
101 Dalmatians The Musical was originally adapted for the stage by Zinnie Harris (The Duchess of Malfi), and has music and lyrics by Douglas Hodge, and a book by Johnny McKnight.
The show is directed by Bill Buckhurst, with set design by David Woodhead, costumes by Sarah Mercadé, and choreography by Lucy Hind. Additional highlights include musical supervision by Alfonso Casado Trigo, orchestrations by Jack Hopkins, and puppetry designed by Jimmy Grimes. The creative team’s skillful contributions combine to deliver a charming and visually rich experience.
