Punchdrunk’s immersive theatre production The Drowned Man: A Hollywood Fable has been extended again in London, to 29 June 2014.
The hugely successful show, which is based at an old Royal Mail sorting offices next to Paddington station, has already been extended to 18 May.
A co-production with Punchdrunk and the National Theatre, the show is inspired by Georg Buchner’s Woyzeck and relocates the action to a 1960s film underworld and features Punchdrunk’s acclaimed promenade style performance.
Hollywood movie star Andrew Garfield surprised audience members at The Drowned Man on Tuesday night when he made an unannounced cameo in the show. In London to promote his latest movie, The Amazing Spider-Man 2, the star made an surprise appearance in the show, to the delight of audience members.
