Award-winning West End show Matilda The Musical has extended its London run to May 2026.
The Royal Shakespeare Company’s acclaimed production is now booking to 24 May 2026.
Also, all new production photos of the show have dropped today, featuring a number of new cast members.

The cast of the show features Angelica Scott, Anna Deikalo, Ava Posniak and Sophia Saravanan in the title role of Matilda; plus Tiffany Graves (The Artist) as Mrs Wormwood, Neil McDermott (Pretty Woman) as Mr Wormwood, Eve Norris (Groundhog Day) as Miss Honey, Kieran Hill (Sunday in the Park with George) as Miss Trunchbull.
Other young performers in the cast include Pasquale Aben-Danan, Elyza Alderton, Beatrice Armitage, Joseph Burrows, Maddy Collings, Sienna Culm, Joey Grady, Blake Graham, Alexandra Horner, Adam Hussain, George Jones, Amber Koduah-Hutchison, Tristan Marwa, Isabelle McLatchie, Anayah Thomas, Kobe Warmington, Nesim Adnan, Ryo Appadu, Amelia-Grace Cambridge, Max Garlick, Jesamine-Bleu Gibbs, Kaylen Luke, Charlie Man-Evans, Yvie Moore and Marnie Rae Warren-Baker.
Matilda has won over 100 international awards since it premiered in Stratford-upon-Avon in 2010, including 24 awards for Best Musical, and been seen by over 11 million people in 90 cities worldwide.
The show is written by Dennis Kelly, with music and lyrics by Tim Minchin, and developed and directed by Matthew Warchus.
The creative team of Matilda also includes design by Rob Howell, choreography by Peter Darling, orchestrations, additional music and musical supervision by Christopher Nightingale, lighting by Hugh Vanstone, sound by Simon Baker and special effects and illusions by Paul Kieve.
Matilda is now playing at the Cambridge Theatre until 24 May 2026.
