Set in Venice, Italy in the 18th century, the story centres on Marco, who was castrated as a child to retain his perfect voice and is on track to be a major opera star of his day. When he meets Gioia, the daughter of an African slave who is confident, strong willed and a supremely talented singer, they fall in love. But when tragedy strikes, Marco must overcome the demons of his past and the morally corrupt forces of the present to save her.

The show is produced by Patrick Bywalski for the Robert Stigwood Organisation and Steven M. Levy for Charing Cross Theatre Productions Limited.

Stiletto is playing Charing Cross Theatre from 24 March to 15 June 2025.
