Outrageous comedy Buyer & Cellar is now playing at the King’s Head Theatre in London for a strictly limited season, starring award-winner Rob Madge (My Son’s a Queer (But What Can You Do?), Robin Hood).

Ten years after the critically acclaimed Off-Broadway production, this hilarious comedy about fame, materialism and peculiar jobs returns to London.

Directed by Kirk Jameson (Song From Far Away, Madagascar The Musical), the play follows an out-of-work actor who unexpectedly lands a job managing Barbra Streisand’s personal shopping mall in the basement of her California home!

Written by Jonathan Tolins, known for his work on the hit US TV series Schmigadoon! and The Good Fight, this fabulously camp comedy offers a witty and engaging glimpse into an imagined world where the ordinary meets the extraordinary.

Buyer & Cellar runs from 18 September to 19 October 2024 at the King’s Head Theatre.

Buyer & Cellar is a hilarious one-person play that follows Alex More, an out-of-work actor who lands an unusual job managing a shopping mall in the basement of Barbra Streisand’s Malibu home.
