Written by Joe Penhall (Blue/Orange, Sunny Afternoon), this world premiere production is directed by The Old Vic’s artistic director Matthew Warchus (Matilda The Musical).
In The Constituent, Anna Maxwell Martin (Motherland, Line of Duty) stars as a hard-working opposition backbencher whose ideals of public office are tested by the demands of a man in crisis, played by James Corden (The Late Show, Gavin & Stacey), and further challenged by her parliamentary protection officer, played by Zachary Hart (An Enemy of the People, The Witcher).
