Rehearsal photos have dropped of Mamma Mia! I Have a Dream winners Stevie Doc and Tobias Turley being put through their paces ahead of their debuts in hit West End musical Mamma Mia! at the Novello Theatre.
Stevie and Tobias will make their Mamma Mia! debut at the Novello on 29 January 2024, when they star as Sophie and Sky in the long-running musical. Tickets are on sale now.
Mamma Mia! I Have a Dream was the ITV talent show that set out to cast a new Sophie and Sky for Mamma Mia!. Set on a Greek Island, the TV show started with 14 Sophie and Sky hopefuls, who were slowly eliminated down to four final contestants by the judges – West End star of Frozen The Musical at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane, Samantha Barks (from 7 February 2024); Olivier Award-winning TV and stage star Amber Riley (Glee, The Wiz, Dreamgirls); comedian Alan Carr; and singer songwriter Jessie Ware.
The grand finale saw the final four contestants fight it out for the ultimate showbiz prize, with Stevie Doc, 22, a musical theatre teacher from Glasgow, and Tobias Turley, 23, an actor and singing waiter from Somerset, crowned the winners.
We can’t wait to see Tobias and Stevie live on the stage at the West End’s Novello Theatre, starring in the show from 29 January to 5 October 2024.
