Event cinema company CinemaLive has announced a new season of musicals coming to cinemas in the UK and Ireland in 2024.

Over 475 cinemas will show the West End productions.

Already announced is My Favourite Things: Rodgers and Hammerstein 80th Anniversary Concert in cinemas on 14 and 18 February 2024. The concert played at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane in December 2023, and starred Joanna Ampil, Michael Ball, Maria Friedman, Daniel Dae Kim, Audra McDonald, Julian Ovenden, Lucy St. Louis, Aaron Tveit, Marisha Wallace and Patrick Wilson, with surprise guest appearances from Chita Rivera and Andrew Lloyd Webber.

Added to that will be Jerry Mitchell’s hit West End production of Kinky Boots The Musical on 1 and 4 February, starring Killian Donnelly, Matt Henry and Amy Lennox.

The 10th anniversary UK tour production of Titanic – The Musical will play on 7 and 10 March, directed by Tom Southerland, and starring Mark Allanson, Valda Aviks, Graham Bickley, Sam Brown, James Darch, David Delve, Adam Filipe, Alastair Hill, Barnaby Hughes, Niamh Long, Ian McLarnon, Jack North, Billy Roberts and Bree Smith.

The West End production of An American in Paris will play on 18 and 21 April, directed by Christopher Wheeldon, and starring Robert Fairchild, Leanne Cope, Haydn Oakley, Zoe Rainey, Davod Seadon-Young and Jane Asher.

Finally, 42nd Street, which played the West End from 2017 to 2019 at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane, will be in cinemas on 16 and 19 May 2024. Directed by Mark Bramble, the show stars Bonnie Langford, Tom Lister, Clare Halse, Jasna Ivir, Christopher Howell, Matthew Goodgame, Graeme Henderson (Andy Lee), Bruce Montague (Abner Dillon), Emma Caffrey (Annie) Ella Martine (Lorraine), Clare Rickard (Phyllis) and Paul Knight (Oscar)
