The brand new production of Calendar Girls The Musical by Gary Barlow and Tim Firth has extended its tour of the UK, and is now playing dates into 2024.

The tour will now visit the Bromley Churchill Theatre, Salford The Lowry, Blackpool Winter Gardens, Bradford Alhambra Theatre, York Grand Opera House, Aberdeen His Majesty’s Theatre, Glasgow King’s Theatre, Bath Theatre Royal, Windsor Theatre Royal, Aylesbury Aylesbury Waterside Theatre, Woking New Victoria Theatre, Norwich Theatre Royal, and Crawley The Hawth.

This new production of Calendar Girls The Musical started its tour at the Theatre Royal Windsor in August 2024, and has music by Take That’s Gary Barlow, a reimagined book by Tim Firth.

Current Calendar Girls cast members who are staying with the show in 2024 include Maureen Nolan (The Nolans), Lyn Paul (The New Seekers, Emmerdale), and Honeysuckle Weeks (Foyles War), and they will be joined by soap stars Laurie Brett (EastEnders), Helen Pearson (Hollyoaks), and Samantha Seager (Coronation Street.

Also in the 2024 cast are Liz Carney, Colin R Campbell, Andrew Tuton, Jayne Ashley, and Victoria Hay.

Calendar Girls follows these extraordinary women in a small Yorkshire Women’s Institute, prompted to create this calendar following the death of a much-loved husband, to raise funds for charity.

With unforgettable songs, every performance continues to add to the nearly £6 million already raised for charity and prove that there is no such thing as an ordinary woman. This tour is also proud to be supporting Blood Cancer UK.

Calendar Girls The Musical is one of Bill Kenwright’s last tours before the legendary producer died in October 2024. It was announced last week that a Memorial Service is to be held for Bill Kenwright in December in Liverpool.
