Ted Lasso stars Jason Sudeikis and Hannah Waddingham sang A Star is Born‘s “Shallow” over the weekend at a benefit concert in Kansas City for the Steps of Faith Foundation.
Sudeikis looked set to sing the duet with his old Saturday Night Live pal Will Forte, but out of nowhere, star of stage and screen Hannah Waddingham stepped out and gave her best Gaga in a stunning performance.

The Emmy Award winner, and three-times Olivier Award nominee, will be joined by a selection of special guests on her TV show, which was recorded at the London Coliseum, including Luke Evans, currently starring in Backstairs Billy in the West End; Eurovision finalist Sam Ryder (Eurovision); Hamilton star Leslie Odom Jr; Ted Lasso’s Phil Dunster; performers from English National Opera; the London Gay Men’s Chorus; and the Fabulous Lounge Swingers.
The annual benefit – Thundergong! 2023 – was in aid of The Steps of Faith Foundation, the charity providing prosthetic care, hope, and comfort to amputees needing financial support. They raised more than $800,000.
