“Spectacular” The Stage

Steven Spielberg’s Minority Report is re-imagined for the stage in a new production at the Lyric Hammersmith in London.

This futuristic thriller is set in the year 2050 where crimes are solved before they happen. When female neuroscientist Dame Julia Anderton – played by Tom Cruise as John Anderton in the movie, is accused of a crime she hasn’t yet committed, she thinks she’s being set up. But is she?

Minority Report stars Jodie McNee (Orlando, Cuckoo, Anatomy of a Suicide) as lead character Julia Anderton, with Nick Fletcher (The CrucibleAnna Karenina), Roseanna Frascona (Macbeth, Salomé), Nicholas Rowe (Tammy FayeThe Inquiry) and Tanvi Virmani (The Crown JewelsLife of Pi).

Minority Report is brought to life on stage by the Tony & Olivier Award winning team behind the stage adaptation of Life of Pi.

Minority Report runs at the Lyric Hammersmith theatre in London from 19 April to 18 May 2024.

In 2050, neuroscientist Dame Julia Anderton is about to launch the next phase of her pioneering Pre-Crime programme, detaining people for crimes before they are committed. But when Julia is accused of pre-murder, she’s in a race against time to save herself from her own system.
