First look: Kathy and Stella Solve a Murder! – in pictures

Production photos are in for Kathy and Stella Solve a Murder! now playing to packed houses at the Edinburgh Fringe.

Bronté Barbé (Newsies) and Rebekah Hinds (Oklahoma!) star as Kathy and Stella in the expanded new show which has West End transfer written all over it. Rounding out the cast of this big-hearted, laugh-out-loud musical are Jodie Jacobs (Rock of Ages), TJ Lloyd (Guys and Dolls), Imelda Warren-Green (Doctor Who: Time Fracture), Jacob Kohli, Chelsea Hall and Sarah Pearson.

Following its run at Edinburgh (as previously announced) the show will then play dates at Bristol Old Vic from 13 to 30 September, and HOME Manchester from 5 to 21 October 2023.

The hilarious whodunnit boasts a book and lyrics by Jon Brittain and music and lyrics by Matthew Floyd Jones.

The full creative team also includes Fabian Aloise as Co-director and Choreographer, Cecilia Carey as Set and Costume Designer, Tingying Dong as Co-Sound Designer, Dan Samson as Co-Sound Designer, Peter Small as Lighting Designer, Charlie Ingles as Orchestrator, Charlie Martin as Associate Director, Caitlin Morgan as Associate Musical Director, Bethany Gupwell as Associate Lighting Designer, Ed Borgnis as Production Manager, Inga Davis-Rutter as Musical Supervisor, Anna Dixon as Costume Supervisor, Charlotte King as Props Supervisor, Gillian Greer as Dramaturge, Annelie Powell as Casting Director and Alice Walters as Assistant Casting Director. The Stage Management Team will be Titch Gosling, Caoimhe Regan and Rosie Bannister. The musicians will be Laura Browne and Philip Williams.
