Adam Kay to star in Undoctored – This is Going to Hurt… More at the West End’s Lyric Theatre

Former doctor turned best-selling writer and comedian Adam Kay is returning to the West End this October 2023.

The acclaimed writer of the Sunday Times best-selling memoir This Is Going to Hurt, which was turned into an award-winning BBC drama starring Ben Whishaw, is heading back to the West End.

Undoctored – This is Going to Hurt… More is a sequel to This is Going to Hurt, with more anecdotes from Kay about his time on and off the hospital wards.

Adam Kay has performed shows around the UK, including at the mighty Eventim Apollo in Hammersmith Apollo, and the West End’s Garrick Theatre where he performed his This Is Going to Hurt stage show in 2020; and is currently performing Undoctored at the Pleasance Theatre in Edinburgh until 28 August 2023.

The new show is coming to the Lyric Theatre for 7 performances only, from 23 to 28 October 2023.
