Deborah Findlay, John Heffernan and Malcolm Sinclair to star in The Inquiry at Chichester Festival Theatre

Full casting has been announced for the world premiere of The Inquiry at Chichster Festival Theatre. 

Deborah Findlay (Orlando, West End; The Lady in the Van), John Heffernan (Edward II, National Theatre; The Crown, Netflix) and Malcolm Sinclair (This House, West End; Andor: A Star Wars Story, Disney) lead the company alongside Shazia Nicholls (Paradise Now!, Antigone); Macy Nyman (Plenty, The Stepmother at CFT); Nicholas Rowe (A Spy Among Friends, A Very British Scandal); and Stephanie Street (Quiz, Our Generation at CFT & West End/NT).

Written by Harry Davies, an investigative reporter for The Guardian, The Inquiry is a gripping drama about the pernicious collision between politics, justice and ambition.

The Inquiry is designed by Max Jones, with lighting by Mark Henderson, sound by Christopher Shutt, movement by Yarit Dor and casting by Charlotte Sutton CDG.

The Inquiry runs in the Minerva theatre, at Chichester Festival Theatre from 13 October – 11 November 2023.

Chichester Festival 2023 season includes The Sound of Music starring Gina Beck, Rock Follies, a revival of James Graham’s coughing major scandal Quiz, an extended run of Life of Pi and a revival of 4000 Miles starring Eileen Atkins and Heartstopper’s Sebastian Croft.
