New photos have been released of the cast of Oklahoma! at the Wyndham’s Theatre in London, including new cast member Sam Palladio.
Sam Palladio, the star of ABC’s TV drama Nashville, has taken over from Arthur Darvill in the role of Curly McLain. Other new cast include Lizzie Wofford (The Phantom of the Opera) playing Gertie Cummings.
The cast also includes Anoushka Lucas (Laurey Williams), Patrick Vaill (Jud Fry), Sally Ann Triplett (as Aunt Eller), Paige Peddie (as Ado Annie), David King-Yombo (as Mike), James Patrick Davis (as Will Parker), Stavros Demetraki (as Ali Hakim), Greg Hicks (as Andrew Carnes), Marie-Astrid Mence (as Lead Dancer), and Phillip Olagoke (as Cord Elam). The company also includes Andrew Berlin, Arthur Boan, Shani Cantor, Anna-Maria de Freitas, George Maddison, Brianna Ogunbawo, Finlay Paul, and Helen K Wint.
Oklahoma! won the 2023 Olivier Award for Best Musical Revival, and has also won Critics’ Circle, What’s On Stage and Evening Standard Awards.
The production is reimagined for the stage by Daniel Fish, and has already played a sold-out run at the Young Vic last year, and transferred to Broadway from St. Ann’s Warehouse in New York, winning the Tony Award for Best Musical Revival.
