Walt Disney Records, the record label of Disney, has released a recording of Samantha Barks – the star of the West End production of Disney’s Frozen at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane – singing a track from the show.
Samantha sings “Dangerous to Dream” from the hit musical, alongside a video for the song, which was filmed at Carlton House in London.

Disney has released the song to celebrate the second anniversary of Disney’s Frozen The Musical in the West End, and also the 10th anniversary of the much-loved animated film.
Dangerous to Dream is one of the twelve original songs for the show, written by Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez.
The track has been released for free by Disney, and it’s unclear if further tracks will be released, or an album of the London production will be produced.
In news last month, Disney revealed that Barks would be staying in the show, which she premiered in London in September 2021, and that Frozen is now booking to 7 January 2024.
New cast joining the show on 27 September 2023 include Laura Dawkes as Anna, and Jammy Kasongo as Kristoff.
Samantha Barks is set to be a judge on the forthcoming new ITV talent show “Mamma Mia! I Have a Dream”, searching for a Sky and Sophie for West End hit Mamma Mia!
