That rare and beautiful of things, a new British musical, is coming to town this October as LOSERVILLE opens at the Garrick Theatre in the West End from 1 October 2012.

The show has been created by former Busted and Son of Dork boy band member James Bourne and Elliot Davis, whose latest work Soho Cinders is currently playing at the Soho Theatre.
Following an enthusiastic run at the West Yorkshire Playhouse this summer, where both audiences and critics gave the show rave reviews, producers are bringing the show to town for a limited run at the Garrick Theatre.
The fun show is about high school nerds in 1970s America, with a mash-up nod to Big Bang Theory nerdster chic, That 70s Show retro and a bit of rocked-up Glee and High School Musical thrown in.
The hot young cast includes TV actor Aaron Sidwell (EastEnders) as lead geek Michael Dork, “Lil” Chris Hardman as Rock School, Stewart Clarke as bad guy Eddie, plus Charlotte Harwood (Legally Blonde) and Eliza Hope Bennett (Inkheart).
An accomplished creative team includes direction from Steven Dexter (Honk!) and this year’s Tony Award-winning musical director Martin Lowe (Once).
