Shucked, A New Musical Comedy opens in London’s West End in 2024.
Nominated for 9 Tony Awards including BEST MUSICAL, Shucked features a book by Tony Award winner Robert Horn (Tootsie), a score by the Grammy® Award-winning songwriting team of Brandy Clark and Shane McAnally, and directed by Tony Award winner Jack O’Brien (Hairspray).
Shucked is a wholly original new musical comedy that gives a nod to past Broadway favourites – The Book of Mormon, Oklahoma! and particularly The Music Man most recently revived with Hugh Jackman – adding a playfully hokey twist.
Billed as a story about an unlikely hero, an unscrupulous con man, and a battle for the heart & soil of a small town, this corn-fed, corn-bred American musical promises to satisfy your appetite for great musical theatre.
Venue & dates to be announced.
