Tamsin Greig to star in The Deep Blue Sea

Olivier Award winner Tamsin Greig is set to star in a revival of Terence Rattigan’s The Deep Blue Sea at the Theatre Royal Bath next year.

The Deep Blue Sea will play in Bath from 25 April to 25 May 2024.

Rattigan’s acclaimed 1950’s study of obsession and the destructive power of love will be directed by Lindsay Posner (Noises Off).

Lindsay Posner is also set to direct David Morrissey in a new production of Harold Pinter double bill The Lover / The Collection at the Theatre Royal Bath in spring 2024.

Tamsin Greig will star as Hester Coller. Greig won the Olivier Award for Best Actress in 2007 for Much Ado About Nothing, and has been nominated for The Little Dog Laughed and Women on the Verge of a Breakdown in the West End. She most recently starred in Pegg For You at Hampstead Theatre.

Tamsin’s extensive screen credits include Green Wing, Black Books, Episodes, Love Soup and Friday Night Dinner.

Director Lindsay Posner returns to the Ustinov Studio following his production of Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf? One of the UK’s most accomplished directors, his recent productions in Bath and for the West End include Noises Off, God of Carnage, Stone in his Pockets, She Stoops To Conquer and Hay Fever.
