Rehearsals are well underway for The Old Vic’s revival of its smash-hit musical Groundhog Day.

Winner of an Olivier Award for Best New Musical, the show boasts music and lyrics by Tim Minchin, and direction by Matthew Warchus, reuniting the duo following their production of Matilda The Musical, plus a book by Danny Ruben who co-wrote the films screenplay.
Groundhog Day The Musical stars Andy Karl, who reprises his Olivier Award-winning role as Phil Connors, immortalised in the original movie version by Bill Murray, and Tanisha Spring as Rita Hanson, played in the movie by Andie MacDowell.
