Elf The Musical is heading back to London this Christmas 2023, returning to the Dominion Theatre in the West End.
Director again by Philip Wm McKinley, Elf The Musical will play the Dominion Theatre from 15 November 2023 to 6 January 2024.
Based on the much-loved 2003 movie starring Will Ferrell, Elf has a book by Tony Award-winners Thomas Meehan (Annie, The Producers, Hairspray) and Bob Martin (The Drowsy Chaperone), with songs by Matthew Sklar and Chad Beguelin (The Wedding Singer).
Other creatives includes choreography by Liam Steel, original set and costume design by Tim Goodchild, lighting design by Patrick Woodroffe, sound by Gareth Owen, video design by Ian William Galloway, and casting – which will be announced soon – Grindrod Burton Casting.
ELF is a hilarious tale of Buddy, a young orphan child who mistakenly crawls into Santa’s bag of gifts and is transported back to the North Pole. Raised as an elf and never quite fitting in, when Santa tells him the truth, Buddy heads to New York to find his birth father, and discovers the gifts of family and love.
Elf originally made its West End premiere at the Dominion Theatre in 2015.
