The five-star hit show Guys & Dolls at the Bridge Theatre has extended its booking period.
Directed by Nicholas Hytner, the acclaimed immersive musical is now booking to 24 February 2024.
The show opened in March 2023 and has proved a solid-gold hit for the Bridge Theatre, including five-star reviews from critics including the Daily Mail, Times, Evening Standard, Telegraph, TimeOut, Financial Times, The Observer and The Sunday Times.
The current cast includes cast including Andrew Richardson (A Call to Spy, The Last O.G) as Sky Masterson, Daniel Mays as Nathan Detroit, Marisha Wallace (Oklahoma!, Waitress, Dreamgirls) as Miss Adelaide, Celinde Schoenmaker (Les Miserables, The Phantom of the Opera) as Sarah Brown, Cedric Neal (Motown The Musical, Back to the Future) as Nicely-Nicely Johnson.
There’s no news on if the current cast will stay on after the original booking period ends on 2 September 2023.
Other cast in the show include Jordan Castle (Harry the Horse), Cornelius Clarke (Lieutenant Brannigan), Cameron Johnson (Big Jule), Anthony O’Donnell (Arvide Abernathy), Mark Oxtoby (Benny Southstreet), Ryan Pidgen (Rusty Charlie) and Katy Secombe (General Cartwright). Completing the cast are Simon Anthony, Lydia Bannister, Kathryn Barnes, Callum Bell, Cindy Belliot, Petrelle Dias, Ike Fallon, Leslie Garcia Bowman, George Ioannides, Robbie McMillan, Perry O’Dea, Charlotte Scott, Tinovimbanashe Sibanda, Isabel Snaas, Sasha Wareham and Dale White in the ensemble.
Guys & Dolls has music and lyrics by Frank Loesser and book by Jo Swerling and Abe Burrows, with – choreography by Arlene Phillips with James Cousins, musical supervision and arrangements by Tom Brady, set by Bunny Christie, costumes by Bunny Christie and Deborah Andrews, lighting by Paule Constable, sound by Paul Arditti, orchestrations by Charlie Rosen, associate direction by James Cousins, and casting by Charlotte Sutton.
