Daniel Mays stars in Guys & Dolls at The Bridge theatre in London.
Daniel Mays is best knows for his TV and film roles including Line of Duty, White Lines, Vera Drake and Atonement. He attended the Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts before going on to win a place at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA), graduating in in 2000. Daniel Mays will make his Bridge Theatre debut playing Nathan Detroit.
His previous theatre credits include The Same Deep Water as Me, Trelawny of the Walls and Moonlight, all for Donmar Warehouse; The One with the Oven, Just a Bloke, Ladybird, The Winterling, Motortown, Scarborough and Hero, all for the Royal Court; M.A.D for The Bush Theatre; Mojo for Harold Pinter Theatre; The Red Lion for the National Theatre; and The Dumb Waiter and The Caretaker for The Old Vic.
On television his credits include Line of Duty (as Sergeant Danny Waldron), Ashes to Ashes, Red Riding, Mother’s Day, Public Enemies, Inside No. 9, The Street, Code 404, Des, White Lines, Temple, Mrs Biggs and Common.
On film his credits include Fisherman’s Friends, The Bank Job, The Firm, Against the Law, Shifty, Vera Drake, Two for Joy, Atonement, Tin Tin, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, Your Christmas or Mine?, Dad’s Army, 1917, The Limehouse Golem and Made in Dagenham.
