An open casting call for the West End production of MJ The Musical has been announced.
Open auditions for the lead role in MJ The Musical will be held on Saturday 18 March in Manchester, Sunday 19 March in Birmingham and Sunday 26 March in London. Registration for all venues opens at 10am and closes at 12-noon.
Casting agents are looking for exceptional male singers – high tenors with falsetto – with strong acting and dancing skills to portray or cover the lead role of Michael Jackson.
Attendees are asked to prepare a Michael Jackson song or pop song that shows off their voice and range. They are required to bring sheet music, a photo and cv. They must be 18 years old and eligible to work in the UK. See full details in tweet below.
Rehearsals are due to start in December 2023 with previews scheduled to begin on Wednesday 6 March 2024 with an official press night on Wednesday 27 March 2024.

Prior to MJ The Musical, the Prince Edward Theatre welcomes another Broadway transfer, Ain’t Too Proud – The Life and Times of the Temptations, running at the Prince Edward from 31 March 2023 booking to 1 October 2023.
