Michael Ball appeared on BBC Radio 2’s The Piano Room yesterday, revisiting a song that made him truly famous.
He sang “Love Changes Everything” from Andrew Lloyd Webber’s hit musical Aspects of Love – which is coming back to the West End this Spring, playing the Lyric Theatre from 12 May 2023.
Michael performed the song with Jamie Bogyo, who recently starred in Moulin Rouge! at the Piccadilly Theatre, and now takes the role of Alex in Aspects of Love – the part that Michael originally played.
Michael Ball is playing the older role of George, and Lloyd Webber has reworked the show so George also sings “Love Changes Everything” in the show.
In the Piano Room mini-concert, Michael Ball also sang his new single “Tennessee Dreams” and a cover of Elvis’s “Just Can’t Help Believing”
The Piano Room was recorded at BBC Maida Vale Studios.
