Behind-the-scenes rehearsal photos are in for Rodgers & Hammerstein’s Oklahoma!, coming to the West End’s Wyndham’s Theatre this month.
Oklahoma! starts performances in a few weeks – on 16 February at the Wyndham’s Theatre, and will run until 2 September 2023.
A talented cast includes Raphael Bushay (Mike), Arthur Darvill (Curly McLain), James Patrick Davis (Will Parker), Stavros Demetraki (Ali Hakim), Greg Hicks (Andrew Carnes), Rebekah Hinds (Gertie Cummings), Anoushka Lucas (Laurey Williams), Marie-Astrid Mence (Lead Dancer), Liza Sadovy (Aunt Eller), Patrick Vaill (Jud Fry), Georgina Onuorah (Ado Annie), and Phillip Olagoke (Cord Elam).
The show was a huge hit at the Young Vic last year, and has been completely reimagined for the stage by Broadway’s Daniel Fish, originally producing the show in New York where it won a Tony Award for Best Musical Revival.
Last year this London production of Oklahoma! won Best Musical at the Evening Standard Awards 2022, and Best Musical Performance for Patrick Vaill, and is nominated for 8 WhatsOnStage awards, including Best Musical Revival.
Oklahoma! is co-directed by Daniel Fish and Jordan Fein, with Orchestrations and Arrangements by Daniel Kluger and Co-Music Supervision by Daniel Kluger and Nathan Koci. Choreographer is John Heginbotham, set designers are by Lael Jellinek and Grace Laubacher, costume design by Terese Wadden, lighting by Scott Zielinski, sound by Drew Levy, and projection design by Joshua Thorson.
