Hannah Waddingham to host Olivier Awards 2023

Ted Lasso and West End stage star Hannah Waddingham has been named host of this year’s Olivier Awards 2023.

Organised by the Society of London Theatre, the 2023 Awards will take place on Sunday 2 April 2023 at the Royal Albert Hall in London.

Hannah Waddingham has previously been nominated for three Olivier Awards – for Spamalot, A Little Night Music and Kiss Me, Kate. She has also won a Primetime Emmy for her Apple series Ted Lasso.

Choreographer Anthony Van Laast (Tina – The Tina Turner Musical, Mamma Mia!) has been tasked with creatively directing the show.

The Awards were established in 1976 and celebrate the world-class status of London theatre, and are Britain’s most prestigious stage honours.
