The movie premiered in November as the opening film of the 2022 BFI London Film Festival, to rave reviews from the film critics, and is now showing in UK cinemas.

The movie was expected to drop on Netflix in the UK sometime in December given that it will be available on Netflix in the US and rest-of-world from 25 December 2022.

  1. Why has Netflix postponed the release of Matilda til next year. Recent info told us that it would drop on Christmas Day but now we are told it will drop across the world except the UK. This is a disgrace. I’m paying for Netflix yet my country is excluded. Why ? I am going to cancel my subscription and I hope many uk customers will follow. Outrageous.

  2. Ridiculous. Absolute joke. Why promise today and then change it. Total money grabbing. Once again I would have cancelled had subscription not been in my tv package
