Rehearsal images have been released from As You Like It which begins performances 6th December @sohoplace.
Josie Rourke’s revival of Shakespeare’s As You Like It stars Leah Harvey as Rosalind, Rose Ayling-Ellis as Celia, Alfred Enoch as Orlando, Tom Mison as Touchstone with Martha Plimpton in the role of Jaques.
@sohoplace recently confirmed that Rose Ayling-Ellis and other members of the company will use BSL (British Sign Language) as part of the performance, and that the captions are going to be incorporated into the production to create a fully inclusive experience for all.
This includes screens being set up on all four sides of the in-the-round theatre, so wherever the audience sits they will be able to see the screens and the action on stage.
As You Like It will run @sohoplace from 6 December 2022 to 28 January 2023. It feature designs by Rob Jones, lighting by Howard Harrison, sound by John Leonard and music by Michael Bruce.
