Sorry, this show is not currently booking.

Following a smash-hit, sold-out run at this year’s Edinburgh Festival, Age is a Feeling returns to London’s Soho Theatre.

Written and performed by Haley McGee (The Ex-Boyfriend Yard Sale), this never-the-same-twice show is directed by Soho Theatre’s Associate Director Adam Brace.

Inspired by hospices, mystics and trips to the cemetery, Age Is A Feeling wrestles with our endless chances to change course while we’re alive. A covert rallying cry against cynicism and regret. A call to seize our time.

The show has scenic design by Zoë Hurwitz, and lighting design by Daniel Carter-Brennan.

Age is a Feeling runs at Soho Theatre from 14 February to 11 March 2023.

Age is a Feeling to return to Soho Theatre
Haley McGee's critically acclaimed show Age is a Feeling is heading back to London. Following it's five-star reviews at the 2022 Edinburgh Fringe and an Autumn run in London, Age is a Feeling is returning to Soho Theatre next month, playing from 14 February to 11 March 2023.  Written by and starring Haley McGee (The Ex-Boyfriend Yard Sale), the show celebrates both the light and dark of life and is a rallying cry against succumbing to cynicism and regret.  The show tells the story of one person’s life from their 25th birthday until their death, inspired by interviews with real people. In every performance the audience chooses which storyline McGee performs, choosing six out of twelve story cards that take them on a journey through one person’s life as it unfolds throughout the show. Exploring the glorious joys and tragedies of getting older, Age is a Feeling is directed and dramaturged by Soho Theatre's Associate Director Adam Brace (Liz Kingsman’s One Woman Show), with scenic design by Zoë Hurwitz, and lighting design by Daniel Carter-Brennan. David Luff, Soho's Creative Director and Producer said in a statement: "We are delighted to welcome back Haley McGee following a superb premiere presentation at Edinburgh Festival Fringe. The power and beauty of her writing captivated audiences in Edinburgh and we can’t wait for her to bring this brilliant piece of theatre back to Soho Theatre."
