Smash-hit musical Dear Evan Hansen has ended its run in London.
At an emotional final performance on Saturday, 22 October 2022, at the Noel Coward Theatre the cast of the show, including star Sam Tutty, bowed out with a final curtain call.
The Broadway transfer has played for 3 years at the Noel Coward Theatre starting performances on 29 October 2019.
Sam Tutty has been in the production since the beginning of its London run, and scored a 2022 Best Actor in a Musical Olivier Award for the role.
Sam was joined in the cast by Lucy Anderson as Zoe Murphy, Doug Colling as Connor Murphy, Iona Fraser as Alana Beck, Jack Loxton as Jared Kleinman, Rebecca McKinnis as Heidi Hansen, Lauren Ward as Cynthia Murphy, and Rupert Young as Larry Murphy. Also Marcus Harman plays Evan at certain performances.
Dear Evan Hansen has a book by Tony winner Steven Levenson, a score by Grammy, Tony, and Academy Award winners Benj Pasek and Justin Paul, and direction by four-time Tony Award nominee Michael Greif.
The Broadway production of the show closed last month on 18 September 2022.
