The award-winning musical The Book Of Mormon has extended its West End booking period.
The hit musical from the creators of South Park is now booking to 18 March 2023 at the Prince of Wales Theatre in London.
The Book of Mormon currently stars Dom Simpson as ‘Elder Price’, Tom Xander as ‘Elder Cunningham’, Leanne Robinson as ‘Nabulungi’, plus Steven Webb, Richard Lloyd-King, Haydn Oakley and Edward Baruwa.
The Olivier and Tony Award winning Best New Musical follows a pair of mismatched Mormon boys sent on a mission to a place that’s about as far from Salt Lake City as you can get – Uganda. As they attempt to bring the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints to a community ravaged by War Lords and disease, the pair find their friendship and faith tested by the extreme situations they find themselves in.
The musical is co-directed by Trey Parker and Casey Nicholaw, with set design by Scott Pask, costume design by Ann Roth, lighting by Brian Macdevitt and sound by Brian Ronan. Choreography is by Nicholaw, orchestrations are by Larry Hochman and Stephen Oremus, and music supervision and vocal arrangements by Oremus.
The show continues to be a big hit in London and New York, so it’s great news that the musical is extending its run in the West End.
