Producers Sh!t-faced Showtime are bringing their festive show A Pissedmas Carol to the Leicester Square Theatre this Christmas.
Running from 15 December to 7 January at Leicester Square Theatre, the casts of Sh!t-faced Showtime and Sh!t-faced Shakespeare have teamed up to bring Dickens’ classic tale revamped as an alternative Christmas panto with brand new songs.
As with their recent West End run of Sh!t-faced Shakespeare, the show features a West End cast of professional actors, with a single genuinely intoxicated cast member thrown into the mix each night.
A Pissedmas Carol will feature a rolling cast with the actors performing different parts each night, including James Murfitt, John Mitton and Ashley Gerlach as Scrooge; Dan Quirke and William Seaward Belle as Jacob Marley / Ghost of Christmas Present; Issy Wroe Wright and Katy Baker as Tiny Tim; Katy Baker and Lucy Sutton as Ghost of Christmas Past / Mary Cratchitt; and Hal Hillman and Dan Quirke as Bob Cratchitt / Young Scrooge.
Produced by Issy Wroe Wright and James Murfitt, the show is directed by Katy Baker, Musical Director is Charlotte Brooke and Lighting by Jess Davies. The original Sh!t-faced Concept is by Lewis Ironside, Chris Snelson and Sh!t-Faced Showtime, with creative director Issy Wroe Wright.
Sh!t-faced Shakespeare was created in 2010 to devise theatrical events for music festivals. The group went on to perform to sold-out audiences at The Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Brighton Fringe, and then across the UK, USA, and Australia. Sh!t-faced Showtime joined the fold in 2015, rather than performing solely Shakespeare drunk, they took well-known stories and created original scripts with a musical playlist, then threw a drunk in the mix for good measure. Over the last eight years, they’ve performed The Wizard of Oz, Pirates of Penzance, Oliver With a Twist and Alice Through the Cocktail Glass.
