Casting has been revealed for Park Theatre’s Christmas panto Rumpelstiltskin.
Charles Court Opera favourite and Offie-nominated Philip Lee, rising star comedian Emily Cairns (shortlisted for The BBC New Comedy Awards and a semi-finalist in the 2022 Funny Women Awards) will appear alongside newcomers Tamoy Phipps and Lucy Whitney.
Offie Award Winners, Charles Court Opera and Music Theatre make their Park90 debut turning the classic Brothers Grimm fairytale, Rumpelstiltskin, into a new story of names, identities, adventure, and hilarity. Rumpelstiltskin tickets on sale here.
Rumpelstiltskin will begin performances on 13 December 2022. The family friendly show is suitable for ages 8+ and has a running time of approximately 2 hours including interval.
One of the leading and most versatile chamber music theatre companies in the UK, CCO’s pantos are a legendary part of London’s Christmas, with last year’s Beowulf winning ‘Best Panto’ at the Offies. They are committed to devising new work, education and outreach, and have recently achieved major critical success for their collaborations with Opera Holland Park and Wilton’s Music Hall.
Rumpelstiltskin will run from 13 December 2022 until 14 January 2023 at Park Theatre, London.
