Singer and musical theatre star Alexandra Burke is the latest high-profile name to board the London Palladium pantomime Jack and the Beanstalk. Tickets for the show are now on sale.
Alexandra Burke will play Mrs Blunderbore, the Giant’s devilish wife, in this Christmas’ must see pantomime. Burke joins comedy superstars Dawn French and Julian Clary alongside Palladium favourites Paul Zerdin, Nigel Havers and Gary Wilmot.
The show has a £2 million budget and is going to be the biggest, most spectacular show on stage in London this Christmas. The Panto will be directed by Michael Harrison, with the script by Harrison and Julian Clary, with input from Dawn French.
Alexandra Burke has sold over 5 million records in the UK with her debut single Hallelujah becoming a million-selling chart-topper. The former X-Factor star has become a staple in musical theatre appearing as Rachel Marron in The Bodyguard, Deloris Van Cartier in Sister Act The Musical, Roxie Hart in Chicago, Svetlana in Chess and The Narrator in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.
Jack and the Beanstalk runs at the London Palladium from 10 December 2022 for five weeks only.
