Cast announced for Lotus Beauty at Hampstead Theatre

Casting has been announced for new play Lotus Beauty, which opens at Hampstead Theatre in May.

Anshula Bain (Tartuffe, Birmingham Rep), Souad Faress (Game of Thrones, HBO), Zainab Hasan (The Welkin, National Theatre), Ulrika Krishnamurti (Made in India, Tamasha Theatre Company) and Kiran Landa (Line of Duty, BBC) star in the World Premiere of Lotus Beauty.

Written by Satinder Chohan with direction by Pooja Ghai, Lotus Beauty follows the intertwined lives of five multigenerational women. Set in a beauty salon, honest truths and sharp-witted barbs are high among the treatments on offer.

Lotus Beauty is presented by Hampstead Downstairs/Celia Atkin, in association with Tamasha Theatre Company.

Lotus Beauty runs from 13 May 2022 until 18 June 2022 at Hampstead Theatre, London.
