A new cast is coming to the fun dinner-and-musical show Mamma Mia! The Party at the O2.
Taking over on 7 April 2022 will be Ellis Dackombe, Tamara Perks and Tasha Sheridan. They join Fed Zanni who plays Nikos, Kimberley Powell as Kate, Linda John-Pierre as Debbie, Jonathon Bentley as Adam, Molly Cleere as Kostantina, Allie Ho Chee as Bella, Jessica Spallis as Nina, Dawn Spence as Grandma, Gregor Stewart as Fernando, plus Oscar Balmaseda, Claudia Bradley, and Garrett Tennant. The musicians are John Donovan, Luke Higgins, Kathryn Tindall, Steve Rushton and Mark Pusey.
Booking to 2 October 2022, the show is created by ABBA’s Björn Ulvaeus and promises a whole night of entertainment. Set in a fabulous Greek taverna, over four hours the experience includes a four-course Greek feast, and amusical show set around the songs of ABBA. The evening ends with a 1970s ABBA disco!
Mamma Mia! The Party has music and lyrics by Benny Andersson and Björn Ulvaeus, plus some songs with Stig Anderson, and a story by Calle Norlén, Roine Söderlundh and Björn Ulvaeus, with the English book by writer, comedian and broadcaster Sandi Toksvig.
The show is co-directed and choreographed by Stacey Haynes and Roine Söderlundh, with set designed by Bengt Fröderberg, lighting designed by Patrick Woodroffe, sound designed by Gareth Owen, costumes designed by Annsofi Nyberg, music supervision by Robin Svensson and casting by David Grindrod CDG for Grindrod Burton Casting.
