Full cast announced for Henry V starring Kit Harington

Full casting has been announced for Henry V at the Donmar Warehouse starring Game of ThronesKit Harington in the title role.

Harington leads the cast in an exciting modern production directed by Donmar Associate Director Max Webster, exploring what it means to be English and our relationship to Europe, asking: do we ever get the leaders we deserve? Shakespeare’s ever popular play is a thrilling study of nationalism, war and the psychology of power.

Joining Harington are are Jude Akuwudike (King of France/ Archbishop of Canterbury/Sir Thomas Erpingham), Seumas Begg (Jamy/Grey/Gloucester), Claire-Louise Cordwell (Bardolph/Bates),Kate Duchêne (Exeter/Constable of France), Olivier Huband (The Dauphin/Ely), Melissa Johns (Mistress Quickly/Williams/Macmorris), David Judge (Nym/Mountjoy), Danny Kirrane (Pistol/Westmoreland), Anoushka Lucas (Katherine/Gower), Adam Maxey (Orléans/Bedford), Steven Meo (Llewellyn/Falstaff), Marienella Phillips (Alice/Cambridge/Salisbury), Joanna Songi (Scroop/Rambures/Harfleur/Governor/York/Burgundy) and Millicent Wong(Chorus/Boy) with Gethin AldermanDiany Bandza and Thomas Dennis.

Harington’s West End stage credits include Matthew Dunster’s 2018 production of Sam Shepard’s True West; Jamie Lloyds 2016 production of Doctor Faustus; Laura Wade’s Posh and the original production of War Horse at the National Theatre.

Henry V will run from 12 February 2022 until 9 April 2022 at the Donmar Warehouse, London.
