We’ve never been more connected. We’ve never been more alone.

Award-winning British actress Ruth Wilson stars in Ivo van Hove‘s thrilling version of Jean Cocteau’s heartbreaking play The Human Voice, coming to the Harold Pinter Theatre in London this Spring 2022.

Reunited with groundbreaking director Ivo van Hove (A View From The Bridge, Network) for the first time since their acclaimed Hedda Gabler, Ruth Wilson (The Affair, Mrs Wilson, His Dark Materials) returns to the West End for 31 performances only in this explosive reimagining of one of theatre’s greatest roles. Jean Cocteau’s stunning monologue is more illuminating about love and loneliness than ever.

The Human Voice runs from 17 March 2022 until 19 April 2022 at the Harold Pinter Theatre, London

What is The Human Voice about?

Set in Paris, the play is about a woman (Wilson) who is on the phone to her former lover of five years. The next day he is set to marry another woman, and she must fight for the man she loves.
