The Battersea Park in Concert is back this August Bank Holiday weekend with exciting new programming that includes live music performances from The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Orchestra and more.
The event, located in the heart of Battersea Park, offers visitors a weekend of open-air picnic concerts, perfect for summer.
Battersea Park in Concert 2026 Program
The programme for this year’s Battersea Park in Concert has been officially announced, with the concerts scheduled for 28 – 31 August. Here’s what to expect:
28 August: Sounds of South Africa, with Jeremy Loops and the London African Gospel Choir
Appearing in the UK exclusively for this one-night-only performance is South African singer and songwriter Jeremy Loops, who is known for his signature blend of folk, pop and infectious grooves.
He will be joined by the London African Gospel Choir who will perform Paul Simon’s Graceland album live on stage alongside South African-inspired live music.
29 August: Pop Symphonic with the Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra
Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra goes pop with Pop Symphonic. This jam-packed set will feature plenty of feel-good pop hits reimagined for the acclaimed orchestra. Hit songs from the likes of Britney Spears, ABBA, Elton John, Spice Girls, Shania Twain, Beyoncé and more.
The evening will also include an appearance from finest pop DJs in London courtesy of the legendary Guilty Pleasures club night, hosting the pre-party from stage.
30 August: Movies & Musicals with the Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra
For those who enjoy a good soundtrack, Movies & Musicals will see the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, accompanied by a cast of West End singers, bring to life iconic musical theatre numbers from Hamilton, Jesus Christ Superstar, Guys & Dolls, Les Misérables, Little Shop of Horrors and more.
Music from the silver screen will also be included, from films like Gladiator, Studio Ghibli, Back to the Future, Grease and The Greatest Showman.
The lineup will also include a performance by 1950’s vintage rock and roll band The Bluejays.
31 August: Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Orchestra
The legendary Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Orchestra will perform on Monday 31 August, with a set that brings together world-class players and singers to perform jazz classics from across the eras.
They will be joined in the line up by The Amy Winehouse Band, paying homage to 20 years of her classic Back to Black album. The band features her original musicians, led by her musical director Dale Davis.
The lineup will also feature blues virtuoso Toby Lee, Rwandan-born jazz singer Ineza and her band, and the Jazz Dynamos presenting their unique jazz arrangements of 70s and 80s hits.
